Dr. Emily was raised over the river in Illinois where she danced and sang her way through childhood. Her aspirations were to become a musical star on broadway, but alas her very wise father brought up utilizing her peppy personality to help others. Combining art, science, comforting others and business, he suggested dentistry. Plain old dentistry just wouldn’t do. Pediatric Dentistry sounded way more FUN. A passion emerged.
Dr. Emily attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI for both undergraduate and dental school where she received her DDS in 2012. She immediately continued her education in Yakima, WA with the Lutheran Medical Center to complete her 2 year intensive pediatric training. During this time she also completed a certificate in Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities. Upon returning to St. Louis in 2014, she began practicing at St. Louis Children’s Hospital where she sees medically complex children followed at the hospital.
Dr. Emily had a vision of a complete health home at the Specialty Care Center in which parents can meet all of their children’s health needs in one location. She is ecstatic to share her passion with this unique and awesome facility to truly be a guardian of childhood with her colleagues.
In addition to being a wife to her husband Corey and a mother to a 2 year old son Aiden, Emily commits much of her time to the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Special Olympics where she serves as a lead dentist for Special Smiles across the state.
